The staff, from nursery to toddlers, are amazing and management is very helpful. The center is clean and fresh, and offers great learning tools for my two children. We have been attending this center for nearly two years and I aim to have my children transition to school from this center. The Knox Children and Family Centres are designed to bring together different kinds of services for children and families in one early learning centre bayswater location. We believe in promoting a team environment where healthy discussion and debate is encouraged. This team approach encompasses a positive environment to mentor both students and fellow Early Childhood Professionals. We believe in continuous improvement through researching more efficient practices to extend a strong team of passionate and dedicated educators. All children shall  have their diverse backgrounds acknowledged by celebrating the significant occasions and beliefs of both our families and the local community. All staff also have enhanced learning and development opportunities through the ECA Learning Hub, an online professional learning platform designed specifically for early childhood education and care professionals. Opportunities for rest and relaxation help make them feel safe. Play-based learning experiences are provided for older children who no longer don’t sleep in centre.
Making marks on paper is important for self expression as well as later learning. Throughout the Kindergarten year, children use their language to share ideas, ask questions, express themselves, and connect with peers and adults in social settings. We are conveniently located for families in or commuting through Bayswater North, Heathmont, Kilsyth South, Boronia and Ringwood East. Many of our Children go on to attend local schools such as Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School supporting a smooth transition to school. G8 Education acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands we live, work and play on each day.

Our centre, it’s educators and the outside community is proud of the inclusive curriculum provided to support families and children with additional needs. We are a 47 place long day care centre with 3 rooms ranging from 0-5 year old. We are conveniently situated next to Camboon Primary School. Our whole food meals are crafted by nutritionists and freshly prepared in our cucinas.
Our early learning centre offers the VIC Government-approved Kindergarten program, supporting your child’s development and well-being from now, at school and beyond. In Victoria, 3 and 4-year-old children are able to access a funded kindergarten program led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher. If eligible, your child will be able to participate in the Government-approved Kindergarten program, at no cost, up to a minimum of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

Some centres also provide sheets and formula, so you may not need to remember to pack them. Many of our educators have been part of the Goodstart Bayswater North family for many years—some for over two decades. We’re also proud to support emerging educators and trainees, helping them grow in their careers while nurturing their passion for working with children. We aim to provide rich, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experiences that inspire and challenge children in all the right ways. Catering to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, Nido Early School offers a warm and nurturing learning environment. Following a Reggio Emilia inspired approach, the educators engage the children in fun, play-based learning. They deliver an innovative program that helps children to develop the skills they’ll need to successfully transition to primary school. Social-emotional skills, including the ability to self-regulate emotions, are supported through group learning experiences.
Salisbury Child Care Centre is one of seven centres that  make up the Bayswater Child Care Association Inc. Our service is a Community Based, not for profit organisation, situated in the Bedford area since 1989. I look forward to welcoming your family to Great Beginnings Bayswater early education centre. Everyone was super friendly and the kids looked so happy and settled. The light-filled interiors are bright and inspiring, drawing the children into their learning.
I started my career as a floater and have grown through a range of roles including room leader, 2IC and now Centre Manager. I hold a Certificate III and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and I’m proud of the experience I’ve gained so far in this rewarding sector. I love being part of each child’s learning journey and creating a home away from home where they feel safe, valued and supported. There’s nothing better than seeing a child’s face light up when they discover or achieve something new. There are three rooms at Bayswater Childcare & Kinder that each cater to a different developmental stage.
