Childcare, Daycare & Kindergarten

Thanks to the in-house chef at our Pakenham child care centre, your child can expect healthy, nutritious, and yummy meals. We offer a rotating seasonal menu, providing breakfast, morning tea,  lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack freshly made daily. Our families provide feedback on our centre menu and we create the menu around their voices.
With this in mind, I aim to provide an environment that supports this sense of wonder and provide them with the opportunity to explore and discover their world in a safe childcare centre near pakenh and secure way. Before Carly sits down for lunch with her friends and educators, Carly takes part in the centre’s sports program. Sports helps Carly improve her flexibility and strength (perfect for growing bodies!).

I also bring experience in Youth Work, Event management and Hospitality management, which has strengthened my leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Your child will be encouraged to construct, build and problem solve. 20 out of 20 Child Care Centres in Pakenham have vacancies, with an average cost of $148.62/day. The program is based on the ‘forest preschool’ approach, originally established over 50 years ago in Scandinavia and now an international movement. Kindergarten is a unique time for learning with peers and developing skills for later learning including confidence and curiosity, important skills for starting school. Play is the order of the day of Goodstart Early Learning and the programs at the centre are grounded in a play-based approach. The educators embed teaching and learning into play experiences, helping the children to make sense of the world around them.
Even though we are built for fun, we haven’t forgotten about the serious stuff. That’s why we designed a special wristband tag system for the security of our young guests. Each child is fitted with a wristband upon entry to our gated centre and a corresponding ticket is given the their carer. Upon leaving, this ticket and wristband is checked by our friendly staff at the exit gate to ensure no child leaves without the correct adult.

The centre has 6 modern, spacious, and climate-controlled rooms. All  meals are planned and prepared by qualified nutritionists and chefs to help children develop good eating habits. No matter what age and ability your child is when they take their first steps into our Childcare Centre Pakenham, we ensure that every child and family feels welcome, safe and secure. Our outdoor environments are a true hidden sanctuary, complete with sandpits, a dry creek bed, veggie gardens, and shaded cubby spaces where children can explore nature and learn about sustainability. Take a tour of our service to experience our connected community where every child belongs.
We encourage families to play an active role in centre life, from sharing traditions and ideas to celebrating milestones together. Morning and afternoon family groupings also give siblings the chance to spend quality time together, helping strengthen family bonds within the centre. A place where children feel at home, families are valued partners, and learning happens through curiosity, play, and connection. We at My Stars Childcare apply hands-on learning strategies, ensuring that children are actively engaging and exploring rather than passive instruction. This fosters an love of learning that we believe will serve them well as they grow.

Every Story House-er brings something unique and when all those different pieces connect, it creates something truly beautiful. For children with additional needs or behaviours of concern, we collaborate with inclusion support professionals, allied health teams, and our Kindergarten Improvement Advisor.
