These can be taken for any reason, including public holidays and when children are sick, without requiring families to provide documentation. On the day of the tour, you can  observe practices and interactions within the centre environment. You’ll be able to see all the rooms and playgrounds, ask the team members any questions you have in mind, and get all the information you need to make the best decision for your child. With almost 20 years of experience in the early childcare centres pakenham childhood education sector, I have been fortunate to build a rewarding career that began as an Assistant Educator in the early 2000s.

With over 15 years in Early Childhood Education, my journey has been driven by ensuring every child has the best possible start in life. My background in child protection further strengthens this commitment, providing me with a deep understanding of the safety and advocacy required to create a truly secure environment where children can grow confidently. Our Government-approved Kindergarten program helps children develop the skills they need for a successful transition to school. Children are unique, capable, resilient, and possess a natural sense of wonder and curiosity, which they love to share with their caregivers and teachers. I strive to create an environment that nurtures this sense of wonder, providing opportunities for children to explore and discover their world in a safe and secure way.
This role has been both rewarding and inspiring, allowing me to support our wonderful team of educators. I look forward to creating an adventurous and nurturing environment where children can thrive and families feel supported. Our educational team partners with families to support each child’s development. Learning is fostered through natural curiosity and interests and children are involved in decision-making. We focus on creating an environment of respect and trust, so children feel safe and secure. Our Infant program provides an enriching environment designed to enhance babies’ development while allowing them to explore and learn at their own pace. The educators ensure each child receives plenty of love and affection throughout the day.

This dual perspective allows me to support our families with the professional expertise of an educator and the genuine empathy of a fellow parent. I am proud to lead a nationally award-winning service (Goodstart Sustainability Award National Winner 2014). I have worked in the early learning sector for 23 years, the past 3 of which have been with Goodstart. Our in-house chef prepares breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack each day. The menu rotates regularly, includes input from families and caters for allergies, dietary requirements and cultural needs, including Halal and Kosher options.
