Across the Easter long weekend, the gardens host the Hoppity Hollow Hunt, where children follow a winding garden trail searching for special numbered eggs hidden along the path. Once they’ve collected eggs numbered 1, 2 and 3, they can present them at the end of the trail to claim their Easter chocolate prize. Held over nearly two weeks at Sydney Olympic Park, the show blends agriculture, entertainment and carnival energy on a massive scale.
This year, all children aged 4–12 will receive their own individually prepared bag of chocolate Easter eggs upon entering the park. From 10–11am, the Easter Bunny and Sammy the Shark will be near the park entrance, handing out eggs and posing for photos.
