We can usually book your appointment within days. Our first visit may take longer as we are getting to know your pet and maintenance of your pet’s coat. Times are based on the size of the pet, coat condition, hair length, etc. (very hairy and/or large dogs understandably take longer). We follow strict grooming protocols and use specialized tools. We know that every dog is unique, which is why we take extra care to make sure that we are using the right tools and techniques for each individual dog. There are 64 sites available for camping in the park, along with showers and restrooms. Day passes are also permitted for those only wanting to spend the day at the beach. Grab your camera, tide chart, and hiking boots to visit one of the most interesting and beautiful beaches in the park, Kalaloch Beach Four. The beach boasts a large sandy crescent beach, abundant sea creatures, and dramatic geologic formations.
The initial constraints in 1992 of a 3000 ft by 100 ft right-of-way had necessitated two tight turns on the ramp. These were removed, and users now enjoy smooth, easy access to and from both ends of the bridge. A three year volunteer project constructed 2 miles of trail on the former railroad grade to the west Port Angeles city limits. The city built a 220 foot trail bridge over Dry Creek to complete the connection through the city. The County and the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe collaborated to construct 1.5 miles of paved trail west  to the river. The final phase of work for the Spruce Railroad Trail project at Lake Crescent was completed.

From the nearest town of Forks, it’s about a 20 minute drive or 1.5 hours from Port Angeles. Minus a couple of spots where the trail crosses paved roads, this route is all dirt, most of which is completely rideable singletrack. If grueling hike-a- bikes through stinging nettle, long stretches without access to water, super technical riding, and suffer fests are your thing, this probably isn’t the route for you. It is better for those into well-maintained, flowy singletrack, sub 40-mile days, and ending the day with swims in crystal clear water.
McD is a multibillion dollar company all over the world and they scam  off from customers despite their mistakes. It might be little money to them this is enough to sour the mood when you are trying to enjoy your time with friends. Also burger meat was stale, burgers were extremely bland, wrong food placed in the wrong box, chicken nuggests were also chewy. HORRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE. ONE STAR IS A WASTE ON THIS STORE. For better chicken burgers and nuggets, go to Rhodes Central McD instead, and they have even worse review than here. We had dinner here before the Ed Sheeran concert.

The nearest convenience store and restaurant is located three miles away . Otherwise, the town of Forks is 13 miles and La Push is 9.5 miles . A small ranger station is within walking distance of the campground and there is an outdoor amphitheater where evening ranger presentations are provided on summer weekends.
In the morning, you will wander through a magical rainforest while you spend the afternoon on the beach searching for sea life in tide pools. I recommend Port Angeles for the night you arrive at the park. You can rest from your travel day and buy groceries for the next few days.

Although Olympic National Park restricts the areas where dogs are allowed, there are plenty of dog friendly activities on the Olympic Peninsula. However, the weather can close the road at any time.

Hall Baetz, a strong advocate for the Olympic Discovery Trail, will be commemorated by naming a viewpoint in his honor. Before his death Hall worked tirelessly to help plan and orchestrate a safe trail link along the east side of Discovery Bay. As progress dictated, by 1931 rail passenger service had been eclipsed by the automobile and was discontinued. The rail lines were operated then by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad, and were used solely for freight and timber hauling. The segments run between Siebert Creek and Sequim, and between Morse Creek and Gasman Road. The Siebert Creek pedestrian bridge, purchased salvage, was installed.
