The schedule will be released around four weeks before the start of each school holiday. You can find the daily price for your holiday program in your location’s program schedule. The daily price varies depending on the type of activity (for example, whether it’s an in-house activity, incursion or excursion).  The price listed in the program schedule is the full daily price without any government subsidies that you may be eligible for. The Victorian Government is rolling out funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten – from five hours a week.

The Community room is often used for playgroups, first-time parent groups and other child and family related classes and activities. Rooms are available to hire (on application) for professional children-related services and activities (excluding birthday parties and events) 7 days a week.

Our early learning centre offers the VIC Government-approved Kindergarten program, supporting your child’s development and well-being from now, at school and beyond. In Victoria, 3 and 4-year-old children are able to access a funded kindergarten program led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher. If eligible, your child will be able to participate in the Government-approved Kindergarten program, at no cost, up to a minimum of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. At Great Beginnings, we’re passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that enhance children’s development and foster a sense of belonging. We offer both integrated kindergarten and sessional kindergarten across Victoria.
For integrated kindergarten programs (where kinder is a part of long day care), Free Kinder will appear as a weekly credit of $50.00 on your YMCA account statement. We deduct this credit from your fees, so you'll only need to pay for the cost of day care. To support our families, we offer both permanent and casual enrolment options.
