The airport is also an obvious place to find typical Taiwan tourist magnets, while I found the magnetic drink coasters at the excellent gift shop at Taipei 101 Observatory. My kids and I are cat freaks, so we’ve bought all kinds of fun cat souvenirs in Taiwan.
If you are just passing by on Highway 11, you might not think much of it as a worthy spot.
